'ASpace of Resignation' will display a cross section of the discordanceutilized by Brett Davis, Jamie Adams, and Robert Katkowski in theirrespective images. These three artists employ an ambiguity of specificelements in paint. The results vary from lulling introspection to quietmalevolence. It is work that calls for the viewer to resign himself tothe strange and palpable space, the uncertain surface, and the inchoaterelationships between figures.
An opening reception isscheduled on May 2nd from 7 to 10pm and is part of the Penn AvenueFirst Friday 'Unblurred' event. Exhibit runs to the 30th.
